CMC28: the race of June 2009

- All 4 maps are kept in secret until the start of the race.

- Players can subscribe (min. 50 coppers) on the dedicated CoppersMillionCup server (click here to join, login CMCSRV), with a limit of ~210 slots. After crossing the limit, you'll have to contact the staff in exchange of an extra donation to the server.

- How to subscribe: on the window that appears when joining the server, specify the fee for your subscription (at least 50 coppers), click on "J'accepte" and confirm. All coppers received will go to the JACKPOT! Feel free to boost it by donating

- You can see the subscription list (with logins and nicknames) on this page. On the very day, all non-registered players will see a black screen with a link to join the spectator relay server: that is for limiting the lag on the main server.

- Please be prepared for your satisfaction: during the evening, there will be many players and long tracks! So you should decrease the game graphics and the number of cars shown on the screen. You also need to shut down programs which consume too much in memory or CPU speed. Also consider increasing your computer memory (RAM), especially if you have not enough memory, if you're a Vista user, or if you get the BSoD too often.

- Keep in mind that criticism on each track should be both constructive and encouraging for the mapper, as described on this topic that you should've read already.

Here are the final results, finally (coppers are already distributed) :



There are some new ideas (such as fullspeed and huge jumps), but with a not-so-good track layout (checkpoints for example)...
I generally don't translate everything, but here's my criticism about BPK's track into English now:

• Island: after the start, you can notice that the rest is mainly full-speed... Theorically it causes the respawn to take more time (haven't checked the CPs personally, but some of them are on a road, on a rainbow road, which is a road that you go... Okay just kidding ). The track layout still varies sometimes to short turns, minimal limitations (which I personally don't like, especially the 750 part with the dangerous hill), MAXimal limitations (I fell over the 250 trap )... A good thing is that you can see the other cars jumping at high speed while you drive
